What day is rent in Lagos Life?
Saturday in public notes. Confirm on the live home panel.
Lagos Life houses are five public tiers from Mushin Face-me-I-face-you to Banana Island mansion. Rent collects on Saturday. Miss it and debt, landlord pressure, or a quit notice can follow. Play at lagoslife.app. Shalom Rayhamen. Verified October 7, 2026.
Prices below are recap figures. Live HUD wins. This page is the rent buffer, not a furniture catalog.

Public notes: every Saturday. Unpaid rent becomes debt. Some areas send a Quit Notice after about two weeks. Feature videos show a home with a bed on the home screen and later a manage-house panel for property. Your calendar in Lagos time is the clock, not your local Friday night.
Pair this with jobs. Three completed shifts should cover Mushin plus food. They will not cover Ikoyi.

Hall ₦1,200 is the cheapest public row if you rolled student. Mushin ₦2,400 is the default buffer. Yaba ₦6,000 is a comfort tax. Do not take Yaba because the room looks bigger in a YouTube tour.
Lekki mini-flat is the advertised start. You can still downshift if you blow the cash on a Lexus. Net worth dreams (Lekki Landlord) are not a week-one rent target.
After two Saturdays paid with leftover naira, not after one lucky shift. Guest caps matter for social dreams (Everybody’s Padi) more than for wages. Banana Island is an endgame flex, not a beginner guide step.

Desktop notes: B Buy Mode, C Catalogue, arrows move, R rotate, Enter place, Delete sell, Esc cancel. Some furniture needs power. NEPA outages exist in recaps. Furniture restores needs at home so you spend less at venues. Full price tables are P1.
Spending the rent buffer on Okada fares and buka spam. Upgrading the same week you took a LAPO repayment. Hosting parties in a 3-guest Mushin room until Fun is full and cash is gone. Assuming the landlord waits because you were “almost” paid.
Keep rent + loan + two days of food/transport liquid. If Mushin is ₦2,400 and LAPO is ₦12,000, the scary number is the loan, not the room. Yaba’s extra ₦3,600 over Mushin is a comfort tax that only makes sense after the loan is boring. Lekki ₦17,000 is a Nepo-shaped number; LAPO should not live there in week one.
Quit notice timing is Unverified. Play as if one missed Saturday is an emergency, not a lore event. Recaps say non-Mushin arrears can dump you back to Mushin — treat that as a reason to never upgrade on a spike wage.
Furniture is a needs tool. A bed that stops you buying buka every night can be cheaper than a nicer district. Powered items plus NEPA is a later headache. Guest caps matter when you chase Everybody’s Padi, not when you are hiding from the landlord.
Check the live home panel the day before Saturday. If the HUD rent disagrees with this table, the HUD wins. Pair with jobs shift count and money outflow list.
Worked example: LAPO + Mushin ₦2,400 + loan ₦12,000 = ₦14,400 before food. Three entry shifts at ~₦6,600 Unverified would cover it with a thin margin if you Trek. Move to Yaba in the same week and the margin dies. Nepo in Lekki ₦17,000 can still fail if the first week is Cab + Quilox + no shifts.
Next: cashflow on money.
Keep meters up with needs so shifts still pay the rent.

Debt, then possible quit notice / forced Mushin in recaps. Unverified timing.
Only if Nepo cash still covers two Saturdays after food and transport.
